Rugby Club

Rugby is a decades long tradition at Ivey and a key aspect of student life at many of the top MBA programs worldwide. Ivey has a men’s and a women’s team that both run throughout the entire MBA program. The teams are made up of players of all skill level and all members of the Ivey MBA community are encouraged to participate.

Alumni Game

Every year Ivey MBA Rugby holds an Alumni game in Toronto for new students and Alumni to connect.

McGill Tour

In the fall we participate in a tour to McGill to play some rugby with McGill and other Canadian MBA rugby teams.

The Ivey Rugby team will be travelling to Montreal to take on the McGill and Queen’s MBA teams on October 22nd.

MBA World Cup – Fuquoia School of Business (Duke)

Every year both men’s and women’s teams travel to North Carolina to participate in the MBA Rugby World Cup at Duke University with over 25 other business schools from around the world. Competitors at the tournament include London Business School, INSEAD, Harvard, Wharton, McGill and Stanford. Ivey has always put in a strong performance in the tournament. In both 2009 and 2010 the Ivey MBA team made it to the tournament finals.

This year the matches are scheduled to be held on April 14th and 15th, 2012.
